External Description:

Responsibilities
 Operate various machining equipment such as lathe, Milling and Grinding.
 Perform pre and final machining of aerospace compenents
 Utilize machines/ equipment/ tools to carry out standard repairs
 Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encounter in their daily work
 Actively support and participate in Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives
 Assist the Group Leader and Cell Leaders in their day to day operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline
 Carry out SAP transaction and make necessary changes to works order in SAP
 Carry out proper documentation
 Perform cross-functional jobs within the cell
 Carry out any other duties as assigned

Requirements
 GCE ‘N’/’O’ level or equivalent with NTC 2/3/NITEC in any manufacturing discipline.
 Relevant experience in aerospace industry is preferred
 Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience
 Able to operate conventional /CNC turning and milling machines.
 Ability to speak, write and understand English
 Able to work in permanent night shift
 Able to work independently
 Acceptable communication and interpersonal skill and ability to communicate with all levels
 Basic understanding of technical drawing.
 Familiar with the relevant air worthiness and regulatory agencies requirements
 Thoroughly familiar with all inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment’s and tools used to determine the quality of airworthiness of a part
 Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands-on approach
